QTL is a leader in the architectural lighting industry that takes pride in providing quality to customers and innovating solutions for LED lighting and power supplies As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you'll be right in the action—testing, analyzing, and supporting innovative products that go from early ideas to real-world applications. Role and Responsibilities Assist in testing and analysis for electronics and other electrical projects based on defined testing procedures Build testing setups for electrical and electronics projects Organize and structure data in appropriate formats Maintain and deliver on testing schedule Ability to work in a dynamic setting where project length can vary from short to long term Qualifications and Education Requirements Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology or another related degree preferred 1+ yearsof experience with electronics Product development experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, AC/DC power sources, multimeters, wattmeters, and related components Experience with lab work or relevant academic or professional projects Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment Knowledge of high-voltage electrical safety requirements Familiarity with testing LED drivers and LED lighting products ( preferred ) Experience writing technical reports and performing technical analysis Behavioral Skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Collaborative and team-focused Hands-on and comfortable working directly with hardware Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing High level of integrity Proactive and self-motivated Preferred Skills Ability to work in a dynamic environment, fast-changing environment Ability to work in a lab environmentJob Type:
