In addition to Correctional Officer duties, the incumbent will oversee the setup operation, maintenance and the troubleshooting of automated systems which include but not limited to: Security systems (video cameras, alarm systems, security doors etc.), Networks (switches, access points, computers, printers), phone network/systems and other automated systems as required (including being "On Call") or other duties as assigned at Delaware Correctional Facilities. JOB REQUIREMENTS

for Correctional Officer/Electronics Technician Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: At least 19 1/2 years of age. Six months experience in electronics. Six months experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting. Six months experience in narrative report writing. Knowledge of budget management and control which includes managing a budget for the purpose of keeping expenditures within the limitations of available appropriations and available revenue and maintaining, monitoring, projecting and controlling a budget within set policies and procedures.
