9PM - 530AM) good2grow Bottling Auburndale, FL Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Mid-level Analysis skills 2 years Full Job Description Position Summary Under the direction of the Automation Manager, the incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair and/or distribution of electrical energy. The Automation Technician II ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes and installs, maintains, and replaces electronic programmable logic controllers for the use in the manufacturing processes. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs automated production equipment for a safe and productive work environment: Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical and mechanical components in a production environment while working with other personnel to install or replace production equipment, control panels, motors, drives, etc. according to current electrical codes, using hand tools or power tools. Comprehends "Line Control" and the proper sequencing of the production process to manage the "Flow" of product through the lines. Ensures production equipment is ready for use by completing preventative maintenance requirements for automated equipment and recommending 3rd party service repairs when necessary. Diagnoses and tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Troubleshoots and repairs automated process control systems and their communication networks (Ethernet / IP) Troubleshoots and repairs 4-20mA loops, process instrumentation and control equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Creates, maintains, and updates electrical and automated system schematics and documentation. Prepares and interprets sketches, blueprints, schematics, and P&ID's. Supports continuous maintenance and process improvement efforts. Upholds and reinforces safety standards and procedures set forth by the
Company:
Complies with and ensures established safety procedures and standards and OSHA guidelines. Wears ear plugs, safety glasses, hair/beard cover, and gloves as required. Supports and complies with compliance activities associated with Food Safety Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. Supports and complies with Food Safety System Certification measures, audits, and compliance throughout the company. Varies All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience:
Required High school Diploma or GED required 2-4 years of related experience Experience with troubleshooting various automated systems and platforms (Allen Bradley RS Logix, FactoryTalk, etc.) Familiarity with root-cause analysis and process improvement concepts. Strong arithmetic skills and ability to interpret ladder logic in identifying system faults. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Ability to carry up to 50lbs Preferred Associate degree, apprenticeship, or vocational/technical certification in a related field Working knowledge of current electrical codes and standards About Us good2grow® is a children's beverage company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
