Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building interior systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, and facilities equipment. Conduct repairs using hand tools and specialized electrical or mechanical tools, ensuring all work meets safety standards. Troubleshoot issues with schematics, electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and HVAC units to identify root causes swiftly. Lead or assist with welding, carpentry, painting, and other repair tasks to maintain the building's structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics, electrical work logs, and repair reports. Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring timely completion. Support customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally, fostering a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or repair roles with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical equipment repair, maintenance painting, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance and repair. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools such as ohmmeters, and troubleshooting devices like programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), and facilities equipment upkeep. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and document work orders. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus; capable of guiding junior team members when needed. Valid experience with HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repairs; familiarity with residential painting is advantageous.
