Location:
Clearwater, FL (Onsite)
Pay:
$26.00 to $35.00 per hour, overtime eligible Employment type: Contract (W-2), approximately 12 months, with opportunity for full-time conversion
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Security clearance: None required About the role Keep an SMT circuit card assembly line running: install, maintain and repair in-line manufacturing equipment, and drive equipment performance improvements with the operations team. Contract with opportunity for full-time hire. What you will do Monitor, evaluate, report on and improve performance of CCA production equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and immediate repairs on in-line manufacturing equipment Diagnose failures and replace defective components/modules using drawings, prints and manuals Modify basic optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic or mechanical systems on existing equipment Maintain maintenance, inventory and repair logs; prepare requisitions Work with production leadership and product, process, quality and test engineers What you bring 10+ years of equipment maintenance/technician experience SMT (surface mount) production equipment experience Working knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical systems Use of mechanical hand tools and soldering equipment Strong problem solving skills and oral/written communication Flexible schedule including possible weekend work; able to handle production chemicals High school diploma plus technical training (Associate's degree strongly preferred) Must read and write English Nice to have Automated Optical Inspection (AOI): Koh Young / YesTech Mycronic and Universal Instruments pick-and-place SMT CCA in-line wash MPM screen printers Associate's degree or vocational certificate (Bachelor's a plus) Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
