Position Overview:
The Service Technician will be responsible for testing and repairing the function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures using various electronic measuring devices; multimeter, schematics, confirm or reject units based on instrument reading or monitor display compared with standard, and associated record-keeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and follow manufacturing work order, test methods, procedures, policies, formulas, or techniques Follow ISO work instructions regarding test procedures Testing and repairing the function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures using various electronic measuring devices Confirm or reject units based on instrument reading s or monitor display compared with standard, and associated record keeping. Replace defective surface mount components and repair defective wiring after testing Focus on small objects for extended periods of time, with attention to detail in order to observe the manufacturing of parts to ensure quality standards are met Readily adapt to changing production requirements and prior quality control Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand Key required data into a computer or turn dials and press buttons to set tolerances on equipment, following company standards Repair, replace, and troubleshoot defective components Obtain vendor history file for reference when excessive component defects result during testing Attention to detail in order to observe the manufacturing of parts to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining speed. Perform repetitive tasks in an assembly setting Maintain consistent production quality Maintain safe work environment Skill in both verbal and written communication Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Ability and vision to focus on small objects for prolonged periods of time, color recognition, and component handling/ID/Review Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm, OT as needed
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Pay:
$15.00-17.00
