Set-up Technician Deland,FL Night Shift The role of the Technician I, Product Test & Calibration is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on equipment in compliance to finished product specifications. Minimize scap generation and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or corrected. Facilitate workflow and ensure production is maintained.

ResponsibilitiesSets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specificationsMonitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.

Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs .Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule. Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines. Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards. Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics. Transports hazardous waste to required areas. Complete annual refresher trainings. Set Tech of machines, use of measuring devices, HSD or GED
