Arcade and Bowling Technician Hooky Entertainment Delray Beach, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $19 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Calibration Cleaning Power tools Hand tools Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Arcade & Bowling Technician Hooky Entertainment - West Delray Beach, FL Full-Time Hooky Entertainment is looking for an experienced Arcade & Bowling Technician to join our Family Entertainment Center team. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing arcade games, redemption games, card readers, bowling equipment, and other amusement equipment . This is not a general maintenance position. We are specifically looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can identify why equipment is not working and get it back into operation quickly. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair arcade and redemption games Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and wiring issues Repair motors, sensors, switches, power supplies, wiring, control boards, belts, and other components Diagnose and repair bowling lane and bowling equipment issues Perform preventive maintenance on arcade games and bowling equipment Troubleshoot card readers, ticket systems, sensors, and game communication issues Calibrate and test games to ensure they are operating properly Respond quickly to equipment problems during operating hours Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend permanent solutions Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts replaced, and preventive maintenance Maintain an organized inventory of replacement parts, tools, and supplies Communicate with manufacturers and vendors when additional technical support or replacement parts are required Assist with installation and setup of new games or equipment Follow all safety procedures when working with electrical and mechanical equipment Assist with other technical or facility maintenance needs as required Qualifications Previous experience repairing arcade games, amusement equipment, bowling equipment, or Family Entertainment Center equipment preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience working with motors, sensors, switches, wiring, power supplies, and electronic components Ability to diagnose equipment problems rather than simply replace parts Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals Comfortable using multimeters, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Bowling equipment repair experience is highly preferred Experience with arcade card-reader systems or cashless amusement systems is a plus Strong problem-solving skills Dependable and able to work independently Able to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift equipment or parts as needed Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary Ideal Experience Candidates with previous experience working in any of the following environments are strongly encouraged to apply: Family Entertainment Centers Arcades Bowling Centers Amusement Parks Entertainment Venues Game Rooms Casino or Gaming Equipment Repair Electrical or Electromechanical Repair What We're Looking For We need someone who enjoys troubleshooting.
