This is a hands-on technical role, not a traditional engineering/design position. The ideal candidate has experience working with computer hardware, Windows/Linux operating systems, troubleshooting, testing, and system configuration. The technician will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to help develop new products, troubleshoot problems, perform testing, and move products from development into production. Build, configure, and test computer systems and hardware. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues. Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems. Create and maintain software/OS images for different hardware configurations. Run engineering and product test plans and document results. Perform system-level hardware and software testing. Use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to identify problems. Assist engineers with new product development and product validation. Support manufacturing when new products move into production. Help configure manufacturing test systems and basic test scripts. Write and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and engineering notes. Identify ways to improve products, processes, and quality. Manage multiple assignments while working within project schedules. Qualifications Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, IT, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands-on technical experience minimum 1-2 years Exp. and for top Candidates 5 - 10 years. Hands-on experience troubleshooting computer hardware and/or software. Experience installing or supporting Windows and/or Linux. Ability to build, configure, test, and troubleshoot computer systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Comfortable following technical documentation, schematics, procedures, or test plans. Good communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working on-site in a hands-on engineering/manufacturing environment.
