Job Description

Job Summary

Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units according to established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Assembles units for production electronic equipment, adjusts and calibrates electronic assembly systems, corrects malfunctions, analyzes test results, and supports development of test procedures and product or manufacturing improvements.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
  
• 1+ years of experience with testing electronic assemblies
  
• Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits
  
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions
  
• Experience with flying probe/high power testing

• Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units following established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
  
• Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
  
• Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required
  
• Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed
  
• Utilize hand and small power tools along with various measuring and testing devices
  
• Determine the types of tests to be performed
  
• Approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment
  
• Analyze test results to evaluate the performance of products and equipment
  
• Assist engineers with the design and development of test procedures for new products
  
• Recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications
  
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
  
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level
  
• Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry
