Position Overview As a Mobile Solutions Expert, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and performing high-quality mobile phone repairs both in our store and at customer locations . You'll be equipped with a company van to travel to and provide on-site repair services for customers. Your role will require a combination of technical skill doing repairs, customer service, and sales. Training is provided for mobile and in-store. This position offers a competitive $18 per hour wage along with the potential to earn additional commissions and bonuses. Group-rate medical, dental, and vision insurance are available following the 90-day training period. Training will start in-store before moving to an in-van mobile schedule. Driver's License is required. Ability to pass background, driving, and drug screens is required. Primary Responsibilities Safely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment window Inform customers of job status (Enroute, Arrived, etc.) Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices Provide recommendations for problem resolution Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all van stock Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the repair van Key Qualifications and Skills Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles (Required) Sales and customer service experience in a retail setting (Preferred). Outstanding customer service skills Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical appearance of the repair van Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment High school diploma or GED Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics (Preferred) Previous experience working at retail electronics store (Preferred) Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required) Employment subject to passing background, driving, and drug screenings (Required)
