Pay:
$5,000-$7,000 per month, based on experience, efficiency, and productivity Powersports A/B Technician Destination Powersports in Punta Gorda, Florida, is seeking an experienced Powersports A/B Technician to join our growing service team. This is an immediate, full-time opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, efficient work, and high-quality repairs. Compensation is performance-based with no ceiling—the more productive and efficient you are, the more you can earn. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs. Powersports experience and your own professional toolbox and tools are required. We service motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and side-by-sides, personal watercraft, scooters, dirt bikes, and other powersports vehicles. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair motorcycles, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles Perform scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and related components Communicate repair progress, additional findings, and completion status to the Service Manager and Service Advisors Verify the quality and safety of completed work Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Assist and support other technicians when needed Perform additional duties based on experience, training, and certifications Qualifications Previous professional powersports service experience Experience working on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs/side-by-sides, personal watercraft, or similar vehicles Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, drivability, engine repair, and electrical diagnostics Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced service environment Must provide your own professional toolbox and tools Valid driver's license preferred Motorcycle endorsement preferred ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus Compensation and Benefits Performance-based compensation with no ceiling Expected monthly earnings of $5,000-$7,000 Top technicians may earn approximately $28-$45 per flagged hour, depending on efficiency and productivity Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and vacation Employee discount Five-day workweek with two consecutive days off About Destination Powersports Destination Powersports is committed to creating an excellent experience for Southwest Florida's powersports community.
