Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing assessment, repair, and recalibration of air sampling and pneumatic flow assemblies in accordance with printed, controlled procedures. Conduct detailed evaluation and corrective maintenance of air flow equipment using manual measurement and verification methods. With minimal supervision, troubleshoot assemblies that do not meet prescribed specifications down to the individual piece part, utilizing standard mechanical isolation and diagnostic techniques. All responsibilities are performed in a timely, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs cost effective repair, retest and calibration of Sensidyne products in a timely manner. 2. Maintains Test Procedures to current revision level, logbook tracking, and other forms assigned. 3. Prepare reports including, but not limited to, time sheets & repair history. 4. Works diligently to achieve the required turn-around time for repair and servicing of incoming products. 5. Notifies Supervisor of product deficiencies or design problems. 6. Coordinates activities with other department personnel in a team approach to achieve overall benefits for Sensidyne. 7. Understands and adheres to Sensidyne Quality Practices & Company Operating Procedures. 8. Always maintain test fixtures and tools in a serviceable condition. 9. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment throughout the day. 10. Interfaces with customers in a professional manner on technical issues as warranted. 11. Performs all other duties as assigned or directed.QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficient with instrumentation service and assembly tools
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- Detail oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electronics prints and processes
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good manual dexterity skills
- Good Computer and Data Entry
- Good Soldering skills (certification to
J-STD-001 & IPC 7711/7721
a plus)EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or College Graduate and minimum three (3) years' experience with instrumentation testing, troubleshooting, and/or repair of electronic equipment or mechanical assemblies; or minimum two (2) years instrumentation assembly or production test experience required. Experience using standard manufacturing equipment and measuring devices such as multimeter and power supplies. Soldering experience required.Job Types:
