Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a licensed massage therapist to join our professional team in providing exceptional therapeutic and relaxation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with a focus on patient-centered care. This role involves assessing client needs, designing personalized treatment plans, and delivering effective massage techniques to promote pain relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness. Experience in medical spa settings and occupational health is highly desirable. The licensed massage therapist will contribute to a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop customized massage plans Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities aimed at pain management and relaxation Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients at all times Stay updated on the latest industry practices, safety standards, and medical advancements relevant to massage therapy Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff as needed to optimize patient outcomes Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly Familiarity with occupational health practices and med spa procedures is preferred Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate clients about treatment benefits and wellness strategies Professional licensure as a massage therapist in accordance with state regulations This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and well-being through expert therapeutic care.
