Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Shop Team!

Duties:
Troubleshoot and service various rotating equipment and ancillary parts including, but not limited to, pumps, motors, gearboxes, VFD's, control valves, transmitters, etc. -- both in shop and in the field Collaborate with various manufacturers, customers, and engineers to come up with solutions to complex electrical and instrumentation failures Diagnose and repair VFD and motor-controlled systems Attend start-ups of new or repaired pumping systems Assist other mechanics with various duties
Desired Skills and Requirements:
Experience with rotating equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves for the water and wastewater industry -- a PLUS Dynamic and analytical problem solving skills Experience with pump and lift station controls, PLC and HMI diagnostics, instrumentation, and calibration Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, startup procedures, and electrical schematics Must be available after-hours for emergency response calls on a rotation basis Must have a valid driver's license Must pass a background check and drug test
