Pay:

What You'll Do:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will possess strong electrical and PLC expertise. This role will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated manufacturing equipment as well as perform basic general maintenance of building needs. The primary goal is to minimize manufacturing downtime and ensure optimal plant safety and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities Troubleshoot PLCs:

Diagnose and repair automated system errors using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar software.

Read Schematics:

Interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints accurately.

Repair Electrical Systems:

Fix high/low voltage circuits, AC/DC drives, motors, and switchgears.

Perform Preventive and Routine Equipment Maintenance:

Execute scheduled PM tasks and repairs upon demand on robotics, conveyors, lathes, drill presses, mill port, and all other factory equipment.

Perform Routine Building Maintenance:

Implement basic, general maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and building needs throughout the plant and office areas.

Calibrate Instruments:

Adjust sensors, probes, encoders, and control valves for precise operation. Respond to

Breakdowns:

Provide rapid emergency repairs to keep production lines running safely. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and repair accordingly.

Document Work:

Record detailed logs of maintenance activities and parts used.

Ensure Safety:

Follow all OSHA regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash guidelines. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues. Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and repairs: May work with contractors or independently to install new equipment as needed. Identify potential equipment or safety issues: Notify management before potential equipment failures or safety concerns become larger problems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment .

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

PLC Skills:

Proven ability to connect to PLCs, view ladder logic, and trace program faults.

Electrical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of 480V 3-phase power, control panels, and VFDs.

Welding Skills:

Proficient in both MIG and stick welding.

Troubleshooting Abilities:

Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and subsequent repair.

Tools Proficiency:

Expert use of digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and hand tools.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or journeyman card preferred.

Physical Demands:

Lift up to 70 lbs. Stand for long periods. Climb ladders and stairs. Work in tight spaces.
