Instrumentation Technician Build a Career Maintaining Critical Infrastructure Join a team that keeps essential water and wastewater systems operating safely and efficiently for the communities we serve. We're looking for a skilled Instrumentation Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working with advanced technology, and solving problems in a fast-paced industrial environment. What You'll Do Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair process instrumentation, including flow, pressure, level, and analytical devices. Perform loop checks and I/O verification using 4-20 mA, HART, and Modbus systems. Maintain calibration records, loop drawings, and equipment documentation. Partner with Operations, Electrical, and SCADA teams to optimize system performance. Document maintenance activities in CMMS and manage spare parts inventory. Follow all safety requirements, including NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). What We're Looking For 3+ years of industrial instrumentation experience (water/wastewater experience preferred). Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience using calibration and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to workplace safety. Valid driver's license. Education Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Automation, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Work Environment This position works in treatment plants and field environments with exposure to varying weather conditions, chemicals, energized equipment, and confined spaces. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, climb, kneel, and wear required PPE. If you're a hands-on technician who takes pride in keeping critical systems running, we'd love to hear from you.
