An Instrumentation Technician carries out planned or unplanned maintenance and repair activities on a wide range of electronic equipment and process control and safety systems.
Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment Indorama Ventures Hygiene is looking for an experienced E&I Technician to join our Covington, GA manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment throughout the manufacturing facility Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other industrial equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation documentation Assist with PLC troubleshooting and control system issues Perform electrical testing and equipment inspections Support equipment installations, modifications, and improvement projects Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and company procedures Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other departments What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED required; technical degree or relevant trade certification preferred Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems preferred Strong mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality Why Join Indorama Ventures Hygiene?
