Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Circuit Board Technician to join our team in Dawsonville, GA. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electronics, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) , and is confident performing precision component-level soldering and circuit board repairs This position requires: ✅ Hands-on experience working with and troubleshooting VFD motors/drives ✅ Ability to run, program, and diagnose Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) ✅ Passing a hands-on soldering test during the interview process Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial controls, circuit boards, onboard electronics for proportional valves, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), industrial power supplies, and pro-audio equipment. Perform component-level repairs without schematics, including fine-pitch SMT rework using a microscope and hot-air rework station. Troubleshoot, program, and test Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) . Test and verify repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality. Document repairs accurately and maintain detailed service records. Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality and timely repair solutions. Qualifications Experience repairing electronic circuit boards or industrial electronic equipment. Required experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including running, troubleshooting, and programming VFD motors/drives. Strong soldering skills with experience performing component-level repairs. Must successfully pass a practical soldering test. Understanding of analog and digital circuits and electronic components. Oscilloscopes Variable AC/DC power supplies Huntron Tracker Microsoft Office Ability to diagnose and repair boards without schematics.
