Duties Help As an Electronic Integred Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12 , you will: Perform operional checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting on electronic integred systems composed of a number of sensor subsystems. Complete operional checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU). Isole unusual malfunctions using technical manuals, schemics, and wiring diagrams, tools and test equipment including automic test equipment. Solve problems by analyzing installion, circuitry, and opering characteristics of the systems. Adjust and align sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, actuors, servos, computers and other reled components. Remove faulty LRUs for shop repair. Install serviceable components into aircraft and perform total systems alignments in accordance with existing technical manuals and directives. Accomplish technical manual compliance and modificion of components and systems and completes systems checkout for proper operion. Maintain, modify, calibre and inspect a wide variety of user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Complete bench check, testing, repair, inspection, modificion, programming, reprogramming, ming, adjusting, alignment, and analyzing of LRUs and shop replaceable units. Use a variety of test equipment such as automic test equipment (ATE), oscilloscopes, DTA computer, multi-meters, power-meters, and special purpose bench test sets. Test and troubleshoot solid ste electronic assemblies and subassemblies such as circuit cards, modules, re gyros, electronic control amplifiers, electro-mechanical assemblies, random access memories, programmable read-only memories and various integred circuits. Identifies faulty parts and repairs to level authorized. Ensure and certify operional integrity of various night vision systems, and electro-optical components. Reassemble unit after repair, perform alignment and make shop checks. Recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical da, and maintenance procedures by reporting hardware and software malfunctions, inities merial deficiency reports both on equipment and in technical da, and assist in design changes as necessary. Conduct debriefing of aircrews to determine the nure of system malfunctions, then document all maintenance performed and record informion reled to the system, LRU's, or shop repairable units on both aircraft and historical records. When designed on NGB Flying Stus Orders, serve as member of flight crew for the purpose of diagnosing and recording malfunctions, or otherwise determining maintenance and repair requirements. Guide lower level mechanics in the performance of duties. Conduct on-the-job training on assigned systems and reled support equipment and tasks to include classroom instruction as necessary. Process and account for due-in supply assets. Ensure th merial and equipment are properly stored, protected and maintained and th funds are not obliged for merial or parts without proper justificion. Prepare for and participe in various types of readiness evaluions such as Operional Readiness Evaluions (ORE), Command Logistics Readiness Inspections (CLRT-X), and Aviion Resource Management Surveys. May be required to perform additional duties such as structural firefighting, aircraft handling, heavy equipment operion, and maintenance of facilities and equipment, or serve as a member of a team to cope with nural disasters or civil emergencies. Specialized Experience:
Candide must possess experience or training in utilizing principles, basic functions and applicion of theory of electronic integred systems equipment; experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic integred systems equipment; experience in making mechanical repairs th required the use of precision measuring and calibring equipment; experience in using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE); experience which demonstres the ability to interpret technical manuals, specificions, and publicions.
Physical Effort :

Working Conditions :
Work is performed both inside and outside. When inside, the incumbent is frequently exposed to drafts, changing temperures, and noise which is difficult to talk above. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, burns, bruises, and sprains while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment. Often exposed to the possibility of falls while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment; and skin irritions from acid, fluids, and lubricants. Uses safety equipment such as protective ear devices, hard hs, hard-toe shoes, respirors, and protective clothing, which may be uncomfortable to wear or use and may be worn or used for long periods.
