The Mechanic, Instrumentation is responsible for the maintenance for mill wide electrical equipment including preventive and routine maintenance. Will be responsible for planning, installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. How you'll shape the future of the
Electrical/Instrumentation Department:
Follow all established safety rules, company policies and procedures, and recognized practices. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial control systems and related devices, including DCS system. Install control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, circuit breakers, and panels. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install control valves, pressure transmitters, and flow indication devices. You'll be someone who can bring: High school diploma/GED Minimum of five years of relevant experience Ability to work rotating shifts Ability to work independently Ability to work in various conditions and temperatures, both indoors and outdoors Why you'll love working at
