Job Description
Job titles: Maintenance Specialist Tasks Responsible for scoping, planning, and executing the sustaining and reliability projects. 2. Responsible for maintaining all PLC, and HMI Programs 3. Responsible for supporting maintenance Repair or maintain the operating condition of manufacturing equipment such as Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, Mechanical and Welders (SMAW, TIG & MIG), ovens, core cutters and more. Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. Perform maintenance and repair of office and manufacturing facilities. Document it using the work order system. Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary Participate in the Spill Contingency Group and Lockout - Tagout program. Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications/Requirements
- 5yr_Maitnenance experience Electrical engineering degree or equivalent work experience, PLC Experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment
- Ability to utilize a respirator (requires medical statement of suitability)
- Proficient written & oral communication skills (legible)
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, evening / off shifts, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Bending, Kneeling, Standing for long periods, lifting up to 79 lbs., working at heights up to or higher than 50 feet Desired Characteristics- Willingly accepts job challenges and work under stress or pressure
