Job Description
Kept Companies, Inc. seeks an AutoMist Technician to support manufactured housing and RV communities across multiple markets. You will install, inspect, and maintain AutoMist and related water or mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation and strong resident experience. Responsibilities include routine inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and coordinating vendors as needed. You will document work orders, track inventory, and follow safety and compliance standards. This field role offers autonomy, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to grow with a data-driven, entrepreneurial real estate platform. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and maintain Auto Mist and related water or mechanical systems at manufactured housing and RV communities Perform routine preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration to ensure safe and reliable system performance Troubleshoot equipment issues, complete minor repairs, and coordinate external vendors for complex work Document work orders, maintenance activities, and parts usage in company systems Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, and communicate needs to management Follow company, manufacturer, and OSHA safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance on all sites Collaborate with community managers and operations staff to prioritize work and minimize resident disruption Respond to service calls and system alerts in a timely, professional manner, including occasional after-hours needs Provide clear, courteous communication to on-site staff and residents when work may impact them Identify recurring issues and suggest process or equipment improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency Required Skills Auto Mist system operation Preventive maintenance Basic electrical troubleshooting Plumbing and water systems Mechanical repair Safety and OSHA compliance CMMS or work order systems Technical documentation Customer service Time and route management
