Job Description

Automation Lead Operator We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate, efficient, and timely handling of products and materials. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration. 6:00am to 4:30pm, 10 hr rotation schedule
JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitoring and supporting daily automation system performance. Performing first-level troubleshooting and recovery of automation equipment and AMRs. Reducing manual interventions by identifying and resolving recurring issues. Coordinating with Operations, Engineering, IT, and automation vendors to escalate and resolve system problems. Supporting runtime and throughput objectives while monitoring automation KPIs. Training and coaching operators, leads, and supervisors on automation processes, standard work, and basic troubleshooting. Ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and quality requirements related to automation operations. Supporting operational procedures, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assisting with system-driven work execution, task prioritization, and automation workflow optimization. Providing shift-to-shift communication, documenting issues, and maintaining automation performance logs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or technical degree preferred 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems, logistics software, and inventory systems Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environmental conditions Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (Email educate) Forklift certification required
