Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools if needed. Perform electrical diagnostics on AC/DC systems, low voltage circuits, and electronic components to identify faults accurately. Repair and replace faulty electrical equipment, circuit boards, power supplies, and mechanical parts to restore optimal machine function. Conduct routine maintenance on arcade machines including cleaning, calibration, and testing to prevent future issues. Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to perform precise repairs on electronic systems and wiring harnesses. Read electrical schematics and blueprints to interpret system layouts and troubleshoot complex electronic systems effectively. Provide field service support by traveling to various locations for on-site repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime for gaming machines. Test electronic equipment thoroughly after repairs to confirm proper operation before returning machines to service. Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, parts used, and service reports for accountability and future reference. Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair processes and providing technical guidance when needed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electronic or arcade game repair with a strong background in electrical diagnostics. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, and troubleshooting documents. Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, soldering irons, and multimeters. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic equipment testing methods. Ability to perform electrical soldering with precision on circuit boards and wiring harnesses. Mechanical knowledge related to arcade machine components such as motors, switches, buttons, displays, and mechanical assemblies. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Flexibility to travel for field service calls across multiple locations as needed. Familiarity with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting is a plus. Valid tools certification or relevant technical training in electronics or electrical systems is preferred.
