Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Scanning and ADAS Calibration Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, accuracy, and performance of modern vehicle systems. This energetic position involves performing precise scanning procedures and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations to meet manufacturer standards. You will work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and automotive electrical systems, contributing to vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct comprehensive scans of vehicle electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults or system discrepancies. Perform ADAS calibration procedures following manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal sensor alignment and functionality. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues related to vehicle systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to assist with vehicle repairs, including suspension system adjustments, transmission repairs, and powertrain diagnostics. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting to support overall vehicle performance. Use power tools and welding equipment when necessary for minor repairs or modifications during calibration or diagnostic processes. Document all work performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Proficiency in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of ADAS technologies, including sensor calibration, camera alignment, and system integration. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools such as scan tools, oscilloscopes, and software platforms specific to vehicle systems. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, suspension system repair, transmission work, and diesel engine repair. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is beneficial. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and power tools safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical wiring, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension mechanisms. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems using diagnostic procedures.
