An Instrumentation Technician carries out planned or unplanned maintenance and repair activities on a wide range of electronic equipment and process control and safety systems.

Position Summary:
Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale Power Generation facility with a heavy emphasis on Safety and Maintenance Reliability.
Job Requirements:
Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values Strong safety values Strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing) Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance preferred Computer skills - a must Experience with hydraulic control system a plus (Pressure switches, solenoids, etc.) Experience and Industrial Controls experience a plus: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) BMS (Burner Management System) CEMs (Continuous Emission System) AMS (Asset Management Solutions) Calibration equipment (PH Probes, Transmitters, Level Gauges, etc.) DVC Setup and calibrations on control valves and louvers Familiarity with 3 phase electrical systems Knowledge of Gas/Coal Boilers and Steam Turbines - a strong plus Experience with CMMS - a strong plus Flexibility in accepting change Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills Work off shift when needed Perform call in duties Knowledge of NEC code requirements Must be able to wear a respirator (Full face) DOL Apprenticeship completion or at least 5 years' experience with enrollment in Apprenticeship I&E. Willingness to participate in training to continue developing skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
