Job Description
Overview Adventure Motor Sports is seeking an experienced B-Level Powersports Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and repair skills and is capable of performing most maintenance and repair work independently. This position is ideal for a technician looking to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced dealership environment. If you are passionate about motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, or personal watercraft and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues on powersports equipment. Repair and maintain engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to restore vehicles to optimal condition. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, suspension adjustments, and tire installations. Assist customers by providing clear explanations of repairs needed and offering advice on vehicle operation and maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders while maintaining high quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all repair activities. Qualifications Dealership experience or service technician background in powersports or automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing engines, electrical systems, suspensions, brakes, and welding. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive and powersports diagnostics; familiarity with electrical diagnostics is essential. Experience with motorcycle operation and all-terrain vehicle repair enhances your ability to understand customer needs. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and heavy lifting safely; familiarity with power tools is required. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; sales experience is a plus. Knowledge of automotive engine system repair, soldering techniques, suspension work, and mechanical systems repair is advantageous.
