Job Description

PSI Environmental Systems, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious CDL Portable Restroom Driver to join the team at our hauling location in Twin Falls, ID . Portable Toilet Drivers are responsible for driving a truck on specified routes to deliver and remove portable restrooms and mechanically collect waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. Requires Valid Class B CDL License, with Air Brake, Or the ability to Obtain on with on the job training.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturdays as Needed), 6:00 AM start time. - Ending when the route is complete, generally 8-11 hour day.

Pay:

$25.00/ HR with CDL $24.00/HR without

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean portable toilets: carry and hold hose while pumping. Use sprayer to spray out the portable toilets. Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles Load and unload portable toilets with lift gate: Portable toilets weigh 185lbs Maneuver portable toilets on and off lift gate as well as for placement: using leveraging equipment when possible, such as a dolly Ability to read route sheets and service each customer as identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. Monitor and maintains the physical appearance of the equipment Clean, Service, and Restock units Follow safe operating practices Interpersonal skills relating to good customer service Be able to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments Follows all safety policies and procedures. Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects over 50 pounds. Ability to mount and dismount the truck multiple times every day while on route. Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions. The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class B or A CDL license, with Air Brake, Tanker, & Manual endorsements. Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening, and motor vehicle report (Clean driving record) to be eligible for employment. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws. Ability to work a physically demanding job. Loading and unloading cans with no helpers. Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
