Job Description

The Resident Automation Technician II supports our customer on all automation-related topics. This position requires a broad-based electrical and mechanical skillset and a proactive approach to improve the sites performance through trouble-shooting and hands-on repair. Based at our customer sites, the Resident Automation Technician II must represent the TGW image and ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained. This is an onsite position at our customer in
Aurora, IL Shift:
Friday - Monday 4:00p - 3:00a
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible. Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned. Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment onsite, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton-opening systems. Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs. Interface with the customer as needed to support operations. Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory, as applicable. Collaborate with the broader TGW Lifetime Services team to track, document, and communicate issues and lessons learned. Perform other duties as assigned.
