Job Description

Make an Impact Keeping Production Running Join us as an Electro-Mechanical Reliability Technician and be the go-to expert for keeping complex manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently. You'll diagnose, repair, and improve hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems — including PLC-controlled machines — while mentoring teammates and pitching in on facilities maintenance when needed. Overtime available. $2,000 sign-on bonus paid on your 30th day. A day in the life You start by reviewing the preventive maintenance schedule, then move to a line where a hydraulic press is flagging inconsistent pressure. With schematics in hand, you trace the issue through a PLC routine, verify signals, and inspect the motor control panel on a 230v-480v 3‑phase circuit. After restoring uptime, you coach department technicians on SOPs for safe lockout/tagout and cleanliness, then hop on a scissor lift to service an overhead utility run. Later, you assist with a small fabrication project to enhance a conveyor guard before wrapping up with documentation and a tidy workspace. What you'll do Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical manufacturing equipment, including PLC-controlled systems. Troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance, and implement equipment improvements. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manufacturer instructions, and service manuals to execute precise repairs. Maintain and enhance existing machinery; contribute to the design and fabrication of new equipment and fixtures. Diagnose machine motor control panels (230v-480v, 3‑phase) and resolve control issues. Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to relocate equipment and complete elevated maintenance tasks. Support maintenance around hydraulic presses in a production environment. Train department technicians in company policies, procedures, and SOPs. Assist with facilities maintenance as needed; uphold safety standards and a clean, organized workspace. Perform other duties as assigned. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years as a multi-craft industrial maintenance technician. Production environment experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication; able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Hands-on skills across welding, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and utility systems. Proficiency with basic computer skills for documentation and PM systems. Availability to work overtime as required. Physical requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day. Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
