Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Service Technician to support our shop's quality, organization, and efficiency. This role is responsible for vehicle inspections at check-in, post-repair quality control, and overall shop operations . You will play a key role in ensuring every vehicle is properly documented when it arrives and meets our quality standards before it leaves. This is not a traditional technician role — the primary focus is inspection, quality control, and shop organization — but candidates should be capable of performing basic maintenance and light repairs when needed . Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Intake & Inspection Perform initial vehicle inspections upon arrival Document vehicle condition, note concerns, and identify visible issues Complete digital or written inspection reports with accuracy Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and technicians Quality Control (Post-Repair) Perform final QC inspections on completed vehicles Verify repairs were completed correctly and thoroughly Check for missed items, leaks, noises, or safety concerns Ensure vehicles are clean, complete, and ready for delivery Help reduce comebacks by maintaining high-quality standards Shop Operations & Inventory Manage parts returns, cores, and warranty items Maintain accurate inventory and parts organization Keep shop, bays, and common areas clean and organized Ensure vehicles, keys, and parts are properly staged and tracked Secondary (As-Needed) Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid services Complete flushes and maintenance services Assist with brake and suspension work when needed Qualifications Automotive experience preferred (technician or service background) Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues others miss Organized and process-driven mindset Basic mechanical ability (maintenance and light repairs) Comfortable using inspection tools or digital systems Team-oriented with strong communication skills What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership of vehicle quality from start to finish A person who is proactive, thorough, and consistent Reliable, organized, and takes pride in doing things right Willing to support the team wherever needed Why This Role Matters This position is critical to improving accuracy, reducing comebacks, and keeping our shop running efficiently.
