We are seeking a high-energy Production Automation Technician to keep our high-tech equipment humming on a 6 PM - 6 AM rotating shift! What You'll Do Keep Things Moving:
Maintain and troubleshoot cutting-edge robots, vision systems, conveyors, and automated assembly stations. Be the

Diagnose equipment downtime fast, restore production, and smash safety, quality, and output targets.
Continuous Improvement:
Perform PMs, run root-cause analysis, upgrade systems, and train production teammates. What You Bring Associate degree/technical diploma (or equivalent experience) in Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical/Industrial Tech. 2+ years supporting automated manufacturing gear in a live production environment. Hands-on mastery of sensors, pneumatics, servo systems, HMIs, and schematics. Top-notch mechanical/electrical problem-solving and a team-first mindset. BUFFALO GROVE, Illinois job type: Permanent salary: $53,220 - 73,180 per year work hours: 7am to 11am education: Associates responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Production & Support Maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment, including robots, conveyors, vision systems, and automated assembly/test stations.

Respond quickly to equipment downtime to diagnose root cause and restore production.

Support daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Verify proper operation of safety interlocks, light curtains, E?Stops, and guarding.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.

Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.

Retrieve spare parts and assist with equipment documentation.

Participate in root?cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.

Document repairs, changes, and maintenance activities.
