The Automation Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, programming, and optimizing automated assembly systems, including robots, conveyors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, and HMI issues. Diagnose and resolve problems with robots, conveyors, sensors, vision systems, and pneumatic components Program and troubleshoot industrial robots such as Fanuc, Sepro, Yushin, or Wittmann. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment. Modify PLC/HMI programs and troubleshoot I/O and communication issues. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Support equipment installation, commissioning, and production line changes. Maintain automation documentation and equipment records. Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred. 2-5 years of experience in automation, robotics, controls, or a related field. Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, conveyors, sensors, vision systems, and pneumatic systems. Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Experience with robot programming and troubleshooting. Ability to work night shift.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
