Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician

•Robotics & Automation to support robotic and automated manufacturing equipment at our Buffalo Grove, IL facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with industrial robots, EOAT, automation equipment, PLCs, and HMIs and be comfortable troubleshooting equipment in a production environment. Industry background is flexible. Medical device, molding, and assembly experience are not required. We are primarily looking for strong hands-on robotics and automation skills and the ability to learn new equipment quickly. Key Responsibilities Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robotic equipment. Troubleshoot robot alarms, faults, sequences, sensors, grippers, and vacuum systems. Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) . Perform basic robot teaching, adjustments, and program modifications based on experience. Support robot recovery and production restart following equipment faults. Troubleshoot automated equipment and identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues. Use basic PLC knowledge to assist with equipment troubleshooting. Navigate HMI screens to identify alarms, machine status, faults, and operating conditions. Work with sensors, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment. Assist Controls/Automation Engineers with troubleshooting and equipment improvements. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Follow safety, maintenance, and production procedures. Work effectively with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on industrial robotics experience

•Must Have Hands-on EOAT experience

•Must Have Basic PLC knowledge. Basic HMI knowledge.

Pay:

$30.00

•$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
