The electronics customer service technician will support 4B's existing and prospective electronics customers by answering technical questions and assisting with troubleshooting product specific application questions.

What You Will Do:

Provide phone support for customers who need help selecting the correct product or understanding details about a product. Provide phone support for troubleshooting application issues with products, including wiring faults, incorrect installation, or damaged parts. Send professional e-mails to customers to assist with product selection, troubleshooting, etc. Provide technical support to inside and outside sales staff. Use electronics testing equipment to test and troubleshoot 4B sensors and systems. Evaluate returned products for warranty consideration and produce detailed reports that explain the results of the evaluation. Use demonstration equipment and documentation to become proficient and stay up to date in the 4B electronics sensors and systems. Create hands-on demonstrations for training and sales/marketing use. What You Will Bring:

Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated and capable of accomplishing tasks unsupervised. Experience with electrical testing tools such as multimeters and benchtop power supplies. Desire to learn about products and take on responsibilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented. Experience with Microsoft Office.

Your Education and Experience:

2 years minimum experience in a customer support role High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) Basic computer entry skills Candidates with experience in control circuits, relay logic, PLC programming, and reading electrical schematics and oscilloscopes are preferred
