Robotics Technician (FANUC Preferred)
Support project planning and system readiness before equipment shipsPerform factory acceptance testing (FAT/SAT preparation)Troubleshoot robotic systems and automation equipmentAssist engineering teams with system testing and project executionWhen you're traveling (approximately 40%), you'll:
Commission robotic automation systems at customer facilitiesTroubleshoot and edit existing robot programs (no programming from scratch required)Support startups, installations, and customer acceptance testing (SAT)Provide technical support while maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitudeMost travel is within Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and New York, typically lasting one to two weeks at a time. All travel expenses are reimbursed, and you'll have the option of using a personal or company credit card for travel.
What We're Looking For2+ years of experience working with industrial robots or automated manufacturing equipmentExperience troubleshooting and editing FANUC robots is highly preferredCandidates with ABB, Universal Robots, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms are also encouraged to applyStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsComfortable working directly with customers during equipment startupsValid driver's license and ability to travel up to 40%Nice to HaveExperience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems (training available if you don't have it)Experience working in a manufacturing environment, OEM, or automation companyFanuc programmingWhy This Opportunity?
