Overview Element has an opportunity for a EMI/EMC Technician III to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Salary:

$25.39- $42.33/hr DOE Responsibilities Experience testing to IEC-61000 and CISPR commercial test standards

Performs duties comparable to that of a Senior Technician, utilizing the added skills and knowledge that comes with earning an

Associate's or bachelor's degree in a testing-related field

Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements

Requires very little supervision and technical input of a Department Manager, Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or Engineer

Possess the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical data

Ability to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specifications Skills / Qualifications Working knowledge of laboratory safety College or vocational school coursework certificate preferred Possesses a recognized scientific or engineering qualification, normally at a Bachelor degree level and/or 6-8 years of significant experience in a testing related field through which an equivalent level of knowledge has been attained In-depth understanding of testing concepts Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed Possess strong computer skills
