Job Description
Role Summary The Calibration Technician is responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, a solid understanding of technical specifications, and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Hourly, Full Time 1st Shift | Monday- Friday | 5AM-1:30
PM Pay Range:
$20.00- $24.
Work Location:
Metform Reports to: Continuous Improvement Director Key Responsibilities Perform accurate calibration of a variety of instruments and devices according to detailed drawings, technical specifications, and established procedures Identify, troubleshoot, and correct measurement errors or discrepancies to ensure precision and reliability in instrument readings Accurately compile, record, and maintain calibration data and test results for each instrument, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvements and contribute to the efficient operation of the calibration department Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Skills/Competencies Basic to intermediate understanding of calibration processes, measurement systems, and instrumentation Strong focus on accuracy and precision in measurements, data recording, and documentation Ability to identify issues with equipment or processes and take corrective actions Basic verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting Ability to apply basic mathematical skills for calibration calculations and measurements Comfortable working with hands-on tasks, including adjusting instruments and assembling/disassembling parts Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions. Qualifications (Required)Education:
High School Experience:
0 to 2 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, or a related technical field, or a combination of education and experience Ability to perform basic calibration work under direct supervision, with the opportunity to take on more complex tasks as experience is gained.
