MagTech is currently looking for an Electronic Repair Technician to perform component-level diagnostics, testing, and repairs on various industrial electronic systems. By maintaining high standards of precision and productivity, this position plays a vital role in the restoration of CNC controls, circuit boards, power supplies, PLCs, and servo or spindle drives.

Permanent Position Core Duties Perform component-level repairs and troubleshooting on industrial electronic hardware. Utilize technical diagrams and specialized testing tools to identify and resolve complex equipment malfunctions. Execute precise soldering tasks, replace faulty components, and conduct thorough functional evaluations. Restore functionality to a wide range of automation hardware, including CNC controls, monitors, circuit boards, and power systems, to minimize client downtime. Operate essential diagnostic instrumentation such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators. Record detailed logs regarding diagnostic findings, specific parts utilized, and final test outcomes. Keep the workstation tidy and ensure all diagnostic and repair tools remain in optimal working condition to support team efficiency. Engage in ongoing professional development and safety workshops to foster a secure workplace culture. Requirements Completion of high school and a formal technical certification focused on electronics. Solid grasp of electrical theory and systematic troubleshooting methodologies. Proficiency in interpreting complex electrical schematics and technical wiring layouts. Hands-on experience conducting component-level repairs and soldering work. Fundamental computer literacy for accurate record-keeping and data input. Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to help achieve collective repair goals. Desired Qualifications An Associate degree in electrical engineering or a related electronics discipline. Prior background in the maintenance of CNC machinery or industrial automation systems. Practical knowledge working with power supplies, inverters, servo drives, and PLCs. Familiarity with the standard suite of electronic testing gear, including multimeters and oscilloscopes. Further Details This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime.
