We are an ITAR facility and hire only U.S. persons who are defined as U.S. citizens or green card holders. What You'll Do The Electronic Technician will test and repair various electronic systems or instruments. They will run tests or fault diagnostics on equipment to locate and address a problem, order parts if needed, and replace or repair parts. This could include reassembling circuit boards, motor components, or other structures within a system. This position will set up and run initial tests on new electronic systems or equipment. They will follow wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics to ensure that all systems are installed correctly. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, have outstanding decision-making skills, and be able to multitask Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned) Troubleshoot and Repair Electronics Systems Support process and test system validation Install New Electronic Equipment and Components Create prototypes, identify, and avoid potential issues, and calibrate equipment as needed Update Software and Run Tests on Existing Equipment Upgrade software and run tests on existing electronic systems Maintain detailed records of validity tests and upgrades performed Provide support by documenting test system and product validations Support Test equipment maintenance and repair What You Will Need Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent military experience 2 years work experience in applicable field Intermediate written communication skills Good technical communication skills (verbal and written) Experience with the Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel Software experience with engineering type tools is a plus Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with engineering and manufacturing team members Inventus Power is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
