Job Description

Maintenance Technician Location:
Avon, OH Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment. Dismantle machinery to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Replace worn or damaged mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components. Install and repair power supply wiring, conduit, motors, transformers, sensors, relays, switches, and other electrical equipment. Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including piping. Perform machine alignments and adjustments on spindles, clutches, and other critical components. Install and connect new manufacturing equipment, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. Troubleshoot equipment failures and work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and tool room personnel to minimize downtime. Assist with equipment modifications and continuous improvement projects. Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. In process to earning a Journeyman Maintenance certification (State or Federally approved apprenticeship) OR a minimum of 8 years of related industrial maintenance experience. Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment. Mechanical alignment and machine installation Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics. Must provide your own tools. Technical school education is a plus. PLC-controlled equipment experience preferred Robotics and conveyor systems preferred
Pay:
$38.00/hour plus $1 shift differential
