This Role:
Calibration Technician in Engineering performs routine and non-routine instrument calibrations. This includes maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of equipment and instruments for processing and packaging equipment. This position reports to the Calibration Manager and is 100% onsite. This position is 3rd shift.The responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate calibration support to manufacturing, packaging, quality, and other departments where current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) equipment and instruments are used Set-up standards and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments- including researching instrument specification and calibration techniques for new equipment, as applicable Adjusts/repirs instruments to meet calibration tolerance requirements Participate in continuous improvement functions (lean initiatives), which increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings and improve quality Required qualifications: High school diploma; Associate Degree (AA) preferred Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
