Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of bicycles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns Repair and service various bike components including gears, brakes, wheels, and frames using hand tools and power tools Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical systems repair accurately Conduct wheel truing, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and gear tuning to optimize bike performance Apply knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive electrical systems when working on electronic shifting or lighting systems Follow safety regulations diligently during all repair procedures and manual handling tasks Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed for each bicycle Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting or maneuvering bikes and parts Familiarity with maintenance practices.
