Job Description

The Mobile Technician is responsible for repairing customer equipment off site in a timely and efficient manor to maximize uptime for the customer.
  • Repair and maintain customer equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instrument, and machine tools
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and examine parts for defects and excessive wear
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits utilizing computer-based software diagnostic programs and printed wiring schematics
  • Recondition, repair and/or replace parts
  • Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearing, electrical system, and air systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines/driveline/ABS related issues utilizing sound mechanical knowledge and computer based diagnostic programs
  • Ability to set up and use common cutting, welding, and metal fabrication tooling and equipment as needed to complete repairs
  • All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technician experience, qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this dealer.
  • Complex diagnosis and repair.
  • Work with minimal to no supervision.
  • Effective customer service skills, self-motivated, responsible with strong work ethic.
  • Locally valid driver licenses.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age Truck Country® /
