Air Tool Repair Technician - Lafayette, IN ResourceMFG is hiring Air Tool Repair Technicians for a 1st shift position in Lafayette, IN.
Pay:
$24.27/hr |
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00
PM Job Summary:
Responsible for repairing, calibrating, auditing, and certifying torque control equipment and air/electric tools used in manufacturing. Works with Datamyte software and hardware to monitor torque processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support quality standards through statistical process control (SPC).
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain pneumatic, air, and electric tools Perform torque tool calibration and certification checks Maintain air hose reels and RFL units Monitor and manage repair parts inventory Troubleshoot torque-related equipment and processes Train new employees in the department Support SPC and quality control initiatives
Qualifications:
Basic SPC knowledge Fundamental understanding of hydraulics Experience with air, electric, and hydraulic tools Strong computer skills Good math and blueprint reading abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ideal for mechanically inclined candidates with maintenance, manufacturing, calibration, or industrial tool repair experience.
