DESCRIPTION
Our client is looking for a diverse and talentedAPPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
to join the Information Technology Team. TheAPPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
provides setup, maintenance, and support for application/software, hardware/infrastructure, and connectivity to shop floor CNC Machines. TheAPPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
will ensure accessibility, reliability, and change control in support of business users. TheAPPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
will travel monthly to support locations across the United States, including Puerto Rico! This position is a great opportunity for recent IT graduates, those interested in programming, and for individuals who have IT support experience. DUTIES- Work daily with SQL, PowerShell and Batch files to manage CNC programs, automation, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Learn and work
DELMIA DNC
Shop Floor Programmer application.- Write and optimize SQL queries to track data and work logs.
- Build PowerShell scripts and Batch files to automate transfers, backups and system upgrades.
- Diagnose network, software, and hardware issues to reduce downtime.
- Comprehend industrial Ethernet and TCP/IP communications.
- Monitor and support centralized CNC machines on the network.
- Install and validate application software on Microsoft/SQL Applications and Database servers.
- Implement patches and upgrades to existing software.
- Execute automation scripting and provide feedback of success or failure.
- Interact with diverse end-users and coach them as needed.
- Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Provide SQL reports to business teams.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
