$25/hour - overtime available based on workloadSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmPosition Overview:
We're seeking a motivated Installation & Service Technician to join a leading accessibility solutions team in Lenexa, KS. This junior technician role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment like stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, and residential elevators. You'll work collaboratively with sales and scheduling teams, receiving hands-on and factory training to grow your skills in a rewarding, technical field. Highly preferred experience includes HVAC, automotive repair, appliance repair, mechanical installation/repair, heavy equipment repair, and/or telecomunication repair. Eligible for company bonus and incentives based on performance.Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, and residential elevators. Load/unload service vans, deliver products, and set up equipment at customer sites. Perform preventative maintenance and clean recycled products as needed. Provide creative solutions during installations to meet unique customer needs. Maintain a professional, organized company vehicle and follow a daily schedule. Interact courteously with customers, collect payments, and finalize paperwork. Report to the office after each stop and communicate schedule changes promptly. Keep accurate logs of activities and submit timesheets for payroll processing.Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical systems (low voltage preferred). Familiarity with power tools and hand tools. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs periodically with no physical limitations. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided). Comfortable using a smartphone and computer for scheduling and communication. Adaptable, reliable, and able to work independently under pressure. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
