Job Description
A Vending Machine Repair Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing vending machines, including beverage, snack, coffee, and specialty units. This role ensures machines operate efficiently, remain stocked and secure, and provide a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals Familiarity with refrigeration systems and payment mechanisms Basic proficiency with handheld diagnostic tools and multimeters Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and move large equipment Comfortable working in various locations, including warehouses and client sites Soft Skills Good communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Job Responsibilities MaintenanceRepair Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in vending machines and micro market equipment Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, compressors, refrigeration units, coin mechanisms, bill validators, and electronic control boards Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns Calibrate machines to ensure accurate dispensing and payment processing Deliver, position, and install new vending machines at customer locations Configure machine settings, pricing, payment systems, and temperature controls Verify proper electrical connections and ensure machines meet safety standards Field ServiceCustomer Support Respond to service calls in a timely manner Provide professional on-site customer support Document repairs, parts used, and service outcomes Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and replacement components Track machine serial numbers, service logs, and maintenance schedules Clean internal and external machine component Ensure machines meet hygiene and operational standards Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience ($20- $28 per hour) Steady local route work with Team-oriented work environment Paid Time Off (PTO)
