Union Hourly Position Position Overview Arkema Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our maintenance team at the Calvert City, Kentucky facility. This union hourly role requires strong technical expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems within a chemical manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance- Perform electrical maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, hardware, and software used to control processes in a chemical manufacturing facility.
- Maintain and calibrate process control equipment to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
- Ensure proper and safe use of all tools required to maintain electrical and instrumentation circuits.
- Follow all plant safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of five years of practical experience and required training in an industrial facility as an E&I Technician or equivalent craft.
- Proficiency in distributed control systems such as ABB and Bailey, safety control systems, and programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley).
- Experience with variable frequency drives (ABB) and process instrumentation (e.g., Emerson Rosemount, Micro-Motion, E&H).Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
